About me

35 years of timber construction. One mission: to capture the knowledge for those who come after me.

Tom Van den Bossche

Tom Van den Bossche

Experienced civil engineer · Deep specialisation in the stability of timber-frame construction · Member of the Belgian EC5 working group

Since the mid-1990s I have worked mainly on timber construction projects. Today, 35 years later, more than 1500 timber construction projects bear my name.

“I write these articles because I do not want the knowledge I have built up over 35 years to disappear on the day I retire. What I put on paper, remains.”
